The inspiration for this flower crown scene is a painting by William Adolph-Bouguereau titled "Child Braiding a Crown” in 1872. The boarder is a collection of folk art inspired, girlhood iconography. sewing supplies, bows, bunnies and birds, and daisies. The embellishments are a nod to fable illustrations, fairytales.

Each carving was meticulously digitized to preserve texture and printed using archival Fine Art printing techniques.
